Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 Motherboard

MSI N9600GT OC -T2D512 (Geforce 9600GT)
Our CPU3D review team takes a look at the MSI N9600GT OC- T2D512 graphics card. It utilises Nvidia's Geforce 9600GT (G94) GPU and features 512Mb of DDR3 ram. MSI P7N Diamond (780i SLI) Motherboard
It was only a few months ago Nvidia released the 780i SLI chipset and today, we'll be taking a look at the MSI P7N Diamond motherboard. It utilises Nvidia's 780i SLI chipset designed for Intel processors, and and offers support for 1333FSB, DDR2 ram and 3-Way SLI configuration for Geforce based cards. What's more, it also include Creative's X-Fi HD audio sound card.

Gigabyte GA-MA78GM (780G) Motherboard  
Gigabyte have just released the GA-MA78GM motherboard. It utilises AMD's latest 780G chipset and features integrated graphics with performance equivalent to a Radeon HD3200. It supports all AMD AM2/AM2+ processors, DDR2 ram and AMD's new Hybrid technology, which like Crossfire can boost graphics performance just by adding a Hybrid compatibale card.

Adata Vitesta DDR2-800 X-Series 2Gb kit
Adata have just release their new range of 2Gb memory kits. It's called the X-Series and they're designed for overclocking in mind. Rated at DDR2-800 (PC2-6400) these modules will run at 400Mhz with low memory timings of 4-4-4-12. Our CPU3D review team puts them through the test, and see how well they actually overclock.

How I "Lapped" my Heatsink
You are probably wondering is "Why would you want to lap?".  Well, believe it or not, both your CPU and heatsink are not totally flat. They can be slightly concave or slightly convex.  So when your CPU sits on top of your heatsink there is not a proper mating between them. So by lapping the heatsink you are making it completely flat in order to ensure a better contact.

Multiplay i33 LAN Event (Part II)
This is part II of our coverage of the Multiplay i33 LAN event, with a massive 1,500+ players attending. There were a lot of modded PCs, all watercooled, all SLI configured. Bench Tec UK teamed up with Aqua PCs and demonstrated some LN2 and Phase Change cooling. We interviewed Team Coolermaster, and had a looked at some heavily modified Coolermaster chassis. Enjoy.

Multiplay i33 LAN Event (Part I)
CPU3D is proud to present a full and comprehensive coverage of the Multiplay i33 LAN event, with a massive 1,500+ players attending. It is one of UK's largest LAN event and this year it's being held at Newbury Race Course. We'll be checking out the booths from manufactuers such as Crucial, Tagan and Antec. There's systems with on display with Nvidia's Geforce 9800GX2 in Quad SLI and there are some photos of Intel's Skulltrail system.
