Installation
Installation was fairly straight forward. The card is smaller than a full-size PCIe card, so it shouldn't be a problem fitting it in most motherboards. The copper cooler is quite ingenious, in that it operates on a variable fan speed ... the hotter it gets, the faster the fan spins. During heavy load, you can really hear the fan spinning fast, and when the system is idle, it slows down ... reducing the noise level.
Driver installation was also very straight forward and in our tests we used Nvidia's Forceware v84.21. However, what I've noticed is that the driver reports the card as a standard 7600GS. May be with Nvidia's next driver release, they will include the 7600GST... who knows. In our tests we used an Abit AN8-32X SLI motherboard as pictured below.
Package and Contents
The package is not the most impressive, but it has all the things you need to get going. A DVI-to-VGA dongle is included, along with a TV-out cable. There are no bundled games or DVD software, but you do get a CD containing the Forceware drivers.
