Thanks to rock, and our CPU3D review team, we'll be taking a look at the Pegasus 665 notebook. It's equipped with Intel's mobile Core 2 Duo processor T7200 (2GHz), has a massive 2Gb of DDR2-667 ram, and has a large 15.4" WXGA screen powered by Nvidia's Geforce Go 7600 mobile graphics solution. The Pegasus 665 Notebook is aimed at the mainstream market and offers an impressive feature list. 

Powered by a mobile Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 processor with 2Gb of DDR2-667 ram, the Pegasus 665 give users enough power to run most heavy applications such as Photoshop, large spread sheets and even some video editing. I think 2Gb of ram for a notebook is a very good size, as most will come with 1Gb as standard these days. It's definitely needed if you're running those heavy applications I mentioned earlier. The Pegasus 665 also features a 100Gb 7,200 rpm SATA hard drive with 8Mb cache, which gives a very speedy overall performance. The built-in x8 speed multi purpose DVD-/+RW rom drive, which is pretty much standard nowadays is great for burning CD/DVDs. 

When it comes to connectivity, this notebook is comes pretty loaded to say the least. To mention a few, here's a list.

The Pegasus 665 uses a 15.4" wide screen XGA LCD display with a maximum resoltion of 1680x1050. The screen gives a very crisp and clear display with bright colours and deep blacks. Although the model we reviewed don't come with the fancy "X-Glass"  glossy screen, but you can have it as an optional extra, if you really want it. But bear in mind of the extra cost and also the X-Glass screen only offers a maximum resolution of 1280x800.

         

One of the selling point of the Pegasus 665 notebook is the integrated  Nvidia Geforce Go 7600 graphics. The Geforce Go 7600 graphics uses upto 256Mb of shared system memory, and it's the entry level graphics solution for gaming on notebooks and laptops. It provides all the necessary graphics technologies with full DX9 support, to enable users to play a majority of DX9 games smoothly at default resolutions.
