Now, you might encounter some problems with installing such a large cooler. We found that the Enzotech Ultra-X might not fit all motherboards. That's probably due to the large array of Aluminum fins and the protruding heat pipes. So make sure that your motherboard does not have a chipset cooler that is too large.

In our tests, we used the Abit IX38 QuadGT motherboard which has plenty of space around the processor socket. There aren't any large chipset coolers that could get in the way. The cooler is quite heavy, weighing at over 800g, so be sure not to damage your motherboard when you install it.
