Introduction

Thermaltake delivers a flashy cooler with impressive wingspan and cooling ability, but confined spaces need not apply.

INTRODUCTION

Thermaltake has long been on the cutting edge for case and thermal design. Thermaltake offers solutions that provide effective cooling, with an aesthetic design approach, that’s always sure to turn a few heads at your LAN party. DuOrb continues this tradition.

The DuOrb CPU Cooler utilizes twin 80mm fans surrounded by six copper heat pipes, and both an inner aluminum fin and outer copper fin configuration. The DuOrb cooler sports a wide wingspan to cool not only the processor but also the memory and surrounding socket area. The DuOrb offers only a single speed setting, spinning at 2,000rpm, producing 37cfm each with just 21dBA of overall noise.

Despite its overall size the cooler feels surprising light, and is low profile in comparison to many of the large tower coolers that are on the market today. Let’s move on to the feature list, and see how this cooler stacks up.
