CPU3D is proud to bring you our exclusive coverage of the Computex 2008 Exhibition. The Computex exhibition is undoubtedly Asia's leading hi-tech computer show, where all the top I.T. manufacturers come together. Staged in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan every year... the Computex exhibition not only caters for the Asian market, but also various other markets around the world including the Americas and Europe.
This year organisers of Computex have decided to host the event over two exhibition centres. The largest of the two, the Nangang exhibition center is where the majority of the exhibitors will be staging their booths. It's roughly 15 minutes away from the original TWTC exhibition center, which will also be used for other exhibitors.
You'll find a huge number of manufactuers and exhibitors displaying they latest products ranging from high-end computers and notebooks to PC accessories and components.
The exhibition opens on the the 3rd June and ends on the 7th June, 2008. We'll be bringing you some exclusive photos of new products from top manufactuers such as Asus, Abit, DFI, Foxconn, Gigabyte, MSI and many more. The Nangang Exhibition Center
Striking views all around. The Nangang exhibition is quite something ... it's obviously not as big as Cebit, but it's still very impressive.

The first port of call was at the main exhibition center at Nangang. After registration at the press office and collecting my press pass, we made our way to the first floor ... comprising sections J, K and L. There's also a 4th floor, where you'll find sections M,N and L.

Abit
This year at Computex 2008, Abit had a few products on display ... mostly the X48 and P45 motherboards. They seem to ve focusing on digital photo frames with portable photo printing included.

It is an innovative idea ... but will it work for Abit? What happened to Abit's dominance in producing extreme overclocking motherboards. At the booth there was one guy trying to overclock to 6Ghz with a QX9650 on LN2 ... you know the answer to that one. No it didn't work.
