CPU3D Preview: AMD Phenom Processor with TLB bug fixed

Thanks to AMD, they've just sent us an engineering sample of their Phenom processor ... with the TLB (translation lookup table) bug fix. The fix is at BIOS level, and all you have to do, is to update your AM2+ motherboard to the lastest BIOS. Please refer to your manufacturer.

 

 

The engineering sample didn't have any model numbers on it ... not even during bootup. However, by going into the BIOS, we do know that it runs at 2.6Ghz with a FSB of 1066Mhz. We'll be testing this complete setup over the next few days. In the meantime feast your eyes in our photo gallery below.
