CPU3D Exclusive Preview: Asus P5Q-E Motherboard (Intel P45 Chipset)

Yup that's right guys ... we have an exclusive preview on the Asus P5Q-E Motherboard. The board arrived this morning and we took some photos right away ... just for you. The Asus P5Q-E utilises Intel's latest P45 chipset with ICH10R southbridge. It supports DDR2-800/1066 ram upto 16Gb and it's compatible with all the latest 45nm Intel processors. It also features Asus's new EPU with 6 engines ... energy saving for VGA, HDD, CPU, Memory, Chipset and Fan.

 

 

This motherboard competes DIRECTLY with Gigabyte's EP45 series of motherboards. Who will win this battle? We will soon find out. In the meantime feast your eyes on these exclusive photos in our gallery.
