Aqua Computer's Core i7 Conversion Kit

ermany's Aqua Computer has been specialising in water cooling for a number of years, and if you're invested in its equipment you might be wondering how you'd go about making the switch to Intel's upcoming Core i7 processors.

Core i7, as you're no doubt aware, utilises an all-new socket: LGA 1366, and it happens to be a touch larger than the existing LGA 775. Your existing cooling solution, therefore, is unlikely to fit into place without some form of re-jigged bracket.

Preempting the predicament, Aqua Computer has launched a Core i7 conversion kit that'll allow users of its Cuplex XT, Cuplex XT DI and Cuplex HD to make their existing water-cooled setup Core i7 compatible.

The kit retails at €15 and consists of two larger steel brackets, a set of screws, washers, springs and knurled nuts.
