Hynix Shows The Fastest 1Gb GDDR5 Graphics DRAM

"Built on 54nm technology, 1Gb GDDR5 works on 1.35V voltage. It runs at high speed of 7Gbps, which means it’s 40% faster than current 5Gbps GDDR5. It can process up to 28 Gigabytes of data per second with 32-bit interface.

Hynix 1Gb GDDR5 graphics DRAM totally meets JEDEC Standard, and its volume production is scheduled to happen in the first half of next year. It mainly targets at high-end graphics cards and game PCs."
