Counter-Strike 1.6 and World of Warcraft were the main events at the 2008 ESL Global Challenge held 17-19 October in Montreal, Canada’s Olympic Stadium. FNATIC.MSI beat out outstanding teams, like Made of Brazil, Sweden’s SK, CheckSix, and Gravitas, and the Evil Geniuses from North America, to bring home the gold.

Later, FNATIC.MSI DotA was attending the Make Games Colorful 2008 tournament held in Wuhan, China. FNATIC.MSI Dota didn't lose one single round and they fought all the way up to win first place! They have defeated Chinese superstars CaNt 2:0 in a glorious grand final!
