Package and Contents
The package comes with a lot of equipment especially for video output, it has S-video to HDTV cable, S-video to S-video extender cable.
As well as the video cables there are power splitters and converters to give that extra power, a DVI to VGA adaptor and finally some games and applications.
Installation
Because the 7950GX2 is a double layer graphics card, a double slot space is required for it to fit comfortably, older SLI motherboards with PCI-e slots closer together may cause problems when two of the 7950GX2 in, but then again I think one of these 7950GX2 is enough graphics power for me.
The NX7950GX2 fitted on to the MSI 975X Platinum easily and it left some breathing space for the south chipset even though the video card was a full size PCI-E. There is plenty of room a second PCI-E card about a few centimentres or so. Unfortunately heat is expelled within the system and the back-panel vents are not utilised to its full potential, heat build-up is a slight concern in a PC enclosure/case.
Driver installation was very very easy as usual, since the reference board is pretty much standard you can download the latest drivers from NVIDIA to get the most out of the card.
