"If you're after good performance at default speeds using DDR2 ram, you might find the Abit IP35 Pro worth considering."
Installation
Quick and easy ... no problems here. Just make sure you align the "notches" carefully and install the modules by holding them by the edges. The included heatspreaders, which are pretty much standard on most high-end memory ... are an added bonus and helps dissipate excess heat.

BIOS Settings
This part is very important. Running the memory at the wrong timings, speed and voltage can damage your memory modules and also reduce the performance of your whole system. So do be careful.
If you are unsure what divider/ratio to use or what memory timings to set ... it's best to leave all memory settings to SPD or AUTO. In our tests, we first manually selected the DRAM frequency of DDR3-1066, made sure that the memory timings and CAS latency were set to 7-7-7-20. Then later, we selected DDR3-1333 using the same memory timings.

Voltage adjustments are needed for overclocking ... again if you do not plan to overclock, I recommend that you leave this setting alone. During our overclocking tests we increased the voltage from 1.7v to 1.95v
