Installation and Package

Installation

No problems with installation. It's just like installing any PCIe graphics card. The card is a short PCIe card so, it should fit all motherboards available on the market. The card has 2 ram sinks which is adequate to cool the ram, however the main HSF looks and feel a little cheap. I would probably prefer Gainward to have invested a better quality HSF.

Driver installation was straight forward and in our tests we used Nvidia's Forceware v84.21. We used the Abit AN8-32X SLI motherboard for our tests, as pictured below.

Package and Contents

Nothing special here, the product comes with adequate packaging and has all the essential bits you need, to get going. A DVI-to-VGA dongle is included, along with a TV-out cable. There are no bundled games or DVD software, but you do get a CD containing the Forceware drivers.
