Installation

Installation was very straight forward. No problems here. Just make sure you line up the "insertion notches"  accordingly, and just insert the modules like you normally would, holding them by the edges.

The modules are single-sided and uses ... guess what ... Yes, Micron memory ICs. This is quite a surprise, as I would have thought Kingston would used their own ICs, or maybe a re-brand others. But to find Micron memory ICs on these modules ... you'll know you'll be getting good performance. The modules also comes with Kingston's distinctive heat spreader sporting their HyperX logo. The heat spreader does a good job cooling the memory chips.
