Installation Setup and BIOS

Installation, Setup and BIOS

Installation was pretty straight forward. For cooling we used a Thermaltake Tower 102 CPU cooler modified with 2x80mm fans. That fitted with no problems. There's plenty of space in between the 1st PCIe slot and the 2nd PCIe slot. So fitting any dual graphics cards for SLI configuration shouldn't be a problem.

The motherboard features the additional 8-pin power connector. NOT all power supplies have this type of connection, so you might have to get a converter for it. However, NEWER power supplies over 400W will have them. Just make sure you have this connected up.

The BIOS is where you'll find MSI's Core Cell Menu. The menu allows tweaking of the BIOS, this includes multipliers for CPU, voltage adjustments for both CPU and DDR, memory timings, HyperTransport configuration and more.
