DDR3 is new to the enthusiast level market. The excitment level for the DDR3 at launch has been lukewarm at best. This is due to the high prices, and negligible performance returns. However, like with DDR2, manufactures are beginning to ramp up production and bandwidth speeds.  For the moment high-speed DDR3 is intended for overclockers and enthusiasts. If you have deep enough pockets to absorb the price difference, you can posses the fastest DDR3 offered. At the moment DRR3 1800MHz is among some of the fastest offerings for the platform. So let’s dig into this 1800MHz W1800UX2GP DDR3 kit from Super Talent and see what kind of performance numbers it puts up.
