Introduction

Two great USB products from Adata and OCZ ... the speed and capacity of these new USB pen drives never cease to amaze me.

INTRODUCTION

In today's hi-tech society, it's hard to find someone who don't know what a USB pen or thumb drive really is. They are little storage devices that's about the size of a keyring, which can be "hot-plugged" into any computer that has USB ports without rebooting. These little storage devices are generally called "USB Pen or Thumb Drives", and are great for storing all sorts of files from photos and documents to MP3s and movies. Becuase of the small size of most USB pen drives, it's one of the most convenient way for storing files on the go with the minimum of fuss. I remember using my first ever USB pen drive 7 years ago ... it had a massive 8MB of storage. This is now dwarfed by the massive 32Gb of storage now available. Unbelieveable how times have changed.

Today, we take a look at two USB pen drives from Adata and OCZ. Both are designed and aimed at different market segments. The Adata S701 features 8Gb of storage and is aimed at the fashion conscience EeePC users with is sleek design. While the OCZ Rally2 Turbo has 4Gb of storage and features a slim and compact design, suitable for all types of users. Both USB pen drives are very attractive on their own ... it's just a matter of taste really.
