Installation and Package
Installation
No problems with installation. It's just like installing any PCIe graphics card. The card is longer than your usual standard PCIe graphics card, so make sure that there isn't anything blocking it. The ram sinks look a little cheap but does an adequate job cooling the DDR3 ram. The HSF on the GPU itself looks and feel really plastic ... why don't Gainward look into getting a better looking HSF?
Driver installation was straight forward and in our tests we used Nvidia's Forceware v84.21. We used the Abit AN8-32X SLI motherboard for our tests, as pictured above.
Package and Contents
The product comes with adequate packaging and has all the essential bits you need, to get going. Two DVI-to-VGA converters are included, along with a TV-out cable. There's also a special voucher redeemable for a game, which you need to register and send off. Also included are your usual CDs containing the Forceware drivers, photo editing and PowerDVD software.
