Introduction

X-Spice Kira CS 630 Watt PSU

INTRODUCTION

X-Spice Technology Co. Ltd may not be a familiar name to some of you, as it was not to me before this review. They have R&D laboratories in China, and they are in cooperation for distribution with Xen Micro based in Germany. The company itself conforms to the ISO 9002 Quality standard. They also perform random checks on the production line to insure quality control.

The KIRA series of PSU’s from X-Spice features a small form factor that makes it ideal for HTPC’s or other such confined system spaces. One large 120mm LED fan cools the PSU. Beyond all this they factor in Active PFC, four 12V rails and also configuration for SLI operation.
