2PCOM packs big time cooling, into a small sized package.

 

INTRODUCTION

Sometimes as a reviewer, I have the opportunity to receive a product from a company just starting up. This is the case with the product I have on my desk today. I received a PS964U CPU cooler from the startup company 2PCOM.  They are comprised of former employees of Coolermaster that decided to start their own company. The product line they offer looks pretty impressive so far.

The 2PCOM PS964U CPU cooler is designed to fit all Intel Socket LGA775 CPU and AMD Socket 754, 939, 940, AM2, AM2+, AM3, 1207(F) configurations. The unit also features a Thermal Resistance of 0.14 (C/W) and Noise Level 16dBA ~ 34dBA.

 The CPU cooler makes use of an ultra silent 92x92x25mm PWM fan and 6mm x 4 heat pipes design. They also placed a fin on the back of the unit to direct air down around the CPU socket. Last but not least, they incorporate their HTC technology (Heat-pipe Touch Chip).


“We believe only heat pipe touch chip will make better thermal resistance, so we design a flat heat pipe surface to touch chip (like CPU cooler or other heat resource) to improve the heat sink efficiency. In our design, 6mm and 8mm heat pipe are mature manufacturing process for us”.
