Introduction: Beast Computers

Who are BEAST Computers? Well, BEAST Computers are based in Sunderland, UK. They specialise in high-end, extreme gaming PCs. From custom-built to ready-made, BEAST Computers are experts in building gaming PCs that offers the highest of quality, best in price and performance.

Established in 2005 by gaming enthusiast Adam Taylor and his friends, they have turn the company into a successful business with a steady growth in staff, size and sales. It's all down to a little bit of hard elbow grease I guess, but BEAST Computers sees it more than just build gaming PCs.

I first met Adam Taylor, one of the founders of BEAST Computers at the i33 LAN Event, last year. Since then we have built up a great friendship together. I asked him what BEAST Computers meant to him, and what kind of market share will his business capture. The response was very convincing and straight to the point.

"At BEAST Computers all our staff have passion and are really dedicated and hard working. We want to provide ONLY gaming PCs that offer the best possible price, with service and support that's second to none. We see ourselves at least, as one of the top 3 in the country that build and sell the most EXTREME Gaming PCs money can buy."

So what's inside a BEAST Computer Gaming PC? ... and what makes it so special? Well, each gaming PC from BEAST Computers is custom built and made to order. The customer chooses the best components they want ... and BEAST Computers will build it using their expert technicians. Most of BEAST Computers higher-end gaming PCs will more than likely to include watercooling. For this specialise field, their technicians are also fully trained and competent.

Watercooling is easy if you know how ... but for the novice, it's best left to the experts to handle. Plenty of planning and patience is required. On average, a watercooled system will take upto 4-5 times longer to build over a standard air-cooled solution. Burn-in testing, leak detection and various other checks take a lot of time.

For BEAST Computers, they do it day in, day out ... building a watercooled gaming PC, so it's plain sailing for them. I would rather get an expert build something that they're more familiar with, than me trying .... and making a complete mess :P

Undeniable Fact - Gaming Performance

The company conducted a recent survey ... They asked all of their visitors  in a poll on their forum, what really matters when buying a new gaming rig. They gave all of their users the opportunity to choose one answer to the following question:

"In order of priority, which of the following is more important when considering a new gaming pc?"

1) Price
2) Performance
3) Build Quality
4) Looks
5) Customer Support.

Option 2 was the firm favourite capturing 66% of all votes. Since then, BEAST Computers have worked tirelessly to increase the in game performance of their PCs, whilst at the same time maintaining the best possible prices they can.

In this article, we got hold of the Rick's worklog ... the technician who actually built the BEAST Aphros Reality, and we'll give you a breakdown what he did. It'll be interesting to see how much love he's put in to building this monster ... and we'll show you some benchmarks too.

So, now you know a little about BEAST Computers ... Want to see what BEAST Computer's latest Extreme Gaming PC is all about? We now take a closer look at the specifications of the BEAST Aphros Reality Gaming PC ...
